Overview

Humber Valley Golf Course sits inside Humber Valley Resort, but this isn't your typical course lined with homes. Instead, this course plays from the mountains down into the valley, with the river and streams woven throughout the layout. The high elevations, three special grass blends, huge trees, and challenging design make this an unforgettable experience.

Awards: Over the years, acclaimed golf magazines have recognized Humber Valley Golf with awards including Best New Course, Top 10 Course in Canada, and Best International Golf Resort.

What Makes This Course Special

  • - Beautiful challenge: It's a tough course, but so stunning you don't always mind losing 5 balls over 9 holes

  • - Excellent condition: Interesting mix of grasses throughout – they choose the best grass type for each specific area of the course

  • - Amazing views: Spectacular scenery on just about every hole

Extra Bonus:

The Eagles Perch Restaurant sits on top of the mountain with the pro shop on the lower level and a wonderful restaurant and bar upstairs. The views from this all-glass restaurant – overlooking the river, mountains, and Humber Valley – are worth a meal or at minimum a drink after your round. It's a popular wedding and reception venue thanks to the beautiful backdrop.

Manny and I had an early dinner after our round of golf and it was very relaxing to watch the golf unfold below from the "Eagles Perch".

Verdict:

So, would this course stay in our top 10 the second time around? Absolutely yes! While Terra Nova was enjoyable and we loved it, it dropped out of our top 10 this visit.

But Humber Valley Resort Golf will continue to hold its place in our top 10!
