What Makes This Course Special
Practice Facilities That Impress
The "19th hole" concept is brilliant—they converted their old 18th hole into a dedicated short game practice area. Combined with the driving range and large putting green, all practice facilities are included with green fees (or available for $30 standalone).
Optional Drama for the Brave
Shaker Hills offers five "dramatic tee shots," including a par 6 option and the scenic "Falls" tee shot. While these optional challenges add excitement, honestly, this course is plenty challenging from the regular tees!
Course Conditions & Design
The course was in excellent shape with rolling hills that seemed to drop off in every direction—sometimes on the same hole! Between the strategically placed trees, water hazards, and sand traps, every shot requires thought. And just when you think you've conquered the hole, you reach the greens—sloped, terraced, and absolutely "special." We loved every challenging minute.

Unique Features:
Drive-Through Snack Shop
A first for us! An actual cart-accessible snack shop between the front and back nine. We couldn't resist the novelty—stayed within the cart lines, hopped out for water, and marveled at this clever convenience.
Clubhouse Views
The 2013 renovation included an impressive top deck offering "amphitheater" views of the 1st, 9th, 10th, and 18th holes. Perfect for post-round celebrations.
Pro Tip: Check out their website's "fly over" video of each hole—it's incredibly helpful for course strategy and sets realistic expectations.
