Beldon Hills Golf Club

Harpursville, NY

Golfed Memorial Day May 25, 2025

We stopped into the pro shop and made T times

There were several different combinations for pricing including Seniors, walking, juniors. And packages for longer stays.  Check out their website for details: https://beldenhillgolf.com

Our Rate for the holiday was $42.00 cart included

This course was very inviting, very green with  lots of trees and hills.   But the rain had been so constant the last couple of weeks, that the course didn’t have enough time to drain, so they were offering cart path only and the back nine only.  So If you wanted to play 18 holes – it was the back nine twice.

So we waited until 11:00 to tee off hoping the sun would help dry things out.

This is a mixed review.

The course was beautiful but very tight.  Many holes started and stopped very close to one another and you had to be extra cautious with all the Memorial Day golfers out in full force.

The day was sunny and warmer for the first time in a couple of weeks, we were told.  The golf course packed people in but we were all on only 9 holes!  And the everyone playing 18 was falling inbetween all the new golfers teeing off – finally the golf course opened the front 9  as well and things smoothed out.

The course was wet, soggy and muddy in many places….but still beautiful.   Also Tight and crowded and busy but once the front 9 opened the pace of play improved.   Other golfers we chatted with all said that all the golf courses in the area were impacted with the rain.   Makes sense.

We enjoyed the day.

Final Takeaway:

Yardage:  5614 yards for Blue – while that is considered a “short” course it played longer due to the hills.

Great course for walking – challenging hills but holes are close enough together to make it very feasible.

Budget:  This course averages less than $50 per player including Carts and less than $40 for walkers.

Bar & Grill:  They had a little food grill & Bar but we didn’t eat

Location:  Right Across the street from the Beldon Hill Campground & RV Park
