SCENIC FACTOR

• Water Features: Setting is along the Cumberland river

• Natural Beauty Rating: ★★★★

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

We played the President’s Reserve Course which is noted as one of the top 5 best public courses in Tennessee !  It has over 300 acres of natural Tennessee wetlands

And is along the banks of the beautiful Cumberland River

THE EXPERIENCE

This Golf Course has the most unusual feature:  A large Herd of Scottish Blackfaced Sheep roam the golf course!  Scottish Blackface sheep grazing on a golf course is a natural way to manage the grass, reducing the need for mechanical mowing. The sheep graze on the rough and fairways outside the greens, keeping the grass at a manageable length

They are very unusual looking sheep with Black faces and very impressive curved horns giving them a “wild sheep” look.

PRACTICAL DETAILS

• Tee Time Booking:  We called and booked directly with the Pro Shop

• Practice Facilities: The course also includes other practice facilities like a golf school/academy, golf simulator, and indoor practice areas.

FINAL VERDICT

• Overall Rating: ★★★★
